2010 in review...

I cannot believe another year has past! I'm looking forward to what 2011 holds... I'm already acquiring quite the list of commissioned work, and I'm excited to get started (in between feeding, changing, napping and snuggling with my child, of course!). If you have e-mailed me, I'm getting organized and I will get back to you shortly.

Thanks so much for your support and love.
Happy New Year, everyone!

Holiday Hey.

Hello friends - Life is so busy and full with our precious baby girl! Every day is different around here. Actually, every hour is... it's so hard to plan anything, commit to anything, or get anything done "real quick." Of course everyone tells me it's only going to get busier from here!

Just wanted to say hey... I'm hoping you are enjoying the holiday season.

CBC

Remember when I had my art up at Mars Hill Church for soooo long? Well, I sold most of it before we moved, but still had the 3 huge 4x5 paintings. We brought them with us and figured we'd find a place for them at some point. My parents and sister's fam go to Community Bible Church, a sweet little church not too far from our house. We've visited a few times and have gotten to know some of the people so we decided to put the paintings "on loan" to them, sort of indefinitely.

We went yesterday and I got these few shots - the pieces look really great on the huge walls they have there. A sweet elderly man even told my mom he'd buy the canvases if I'd paint more for the other walls... so cute!

Feeling festive.

Well, people have been prepping for the holiday season since before Halloween, and now I've jumped on the bandwagon. Working on getting out my Christmas decorations and get into the holiday spirit. I pulled everything out yesterday, and you guys, it took me approximately 4 hours to get any decorating done because my sweet daughter just wanted to be held (turns out she had a super stuffy nose and couldn't breath - therefore she couldn't sleep when I laid her down. Poor thing!). I'm learning how to change my expectations about getting something done or going anywhere because you just never know with a little one around.

I just have to enjoy little moments like my morning coffee in my Rosanna 12 Days of Christmas Mugs... they are one of my favorite items to have out in December!

I am super excited to get the house feeling more festive (even if it takes a couple of weeks) and I'm going to attempt a couple of projects... I can't believe it's December already! Hope you all are ready for the new year because it'll be here before we know it.
